We recently held the award ceremony for the best dissertation on plant biology and its applications.
The initiative was born from the desire of DemBiotech® and the Department of Biotechnology of the University of Verona to commemorate Romeo Grisi, one of the first graduates of the faculty and Senior researcher of DemBiotech® and Visiting scientist in the laboratory of Professor Flavia Guzzo.
To remind his commitment, DemBiotech® has launched for the second year a competition for the award of a thesis prize worth €3,000 to graduates of the last two years, with a thesis on plant biology or its applications in different fields.
The hundreds of applications evaluated this year are all very valid, among which "Regulation of the elongation of the stem of rice in response to the photoperiod" by Giulio Vicentini stands out.
Congratulations to the winner and see you in 2020!
